Trip on June 3, 2023, to Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge in Tishomingo, Oklahoma |
The Photography Club went on a field trip to the Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge in Tishomingo, OK. Although storms were predicted in the area, it was a beautiful day and not a drop of rain fell while we were there. After a few hours of photography, we had lunch at Blake Shelton's Ole Red restaurant in Tishomingo.

Rick Cantu, the NWR manager, gave our group advice on where to go on the refuge for good photos.
We spotted some birds on Craven Nature Trail.
At the end of the boardwalk on Craven Nature Trail is an observation deck that overlooks Dick's Pond. We saw many snakes!Shown below are photos taken by people who attended. Thank you for sharing! Click on each image to enlarge and see entire photo. |
