All major roads are closed due to flooding, including Wildlife Drive.  The Visitor Center is open, and the Butterfly Garden is beautiful!  The Nature Festival has been cancelled, but  these events will proceed, including our annual Mother's Day Butterfly Garden Walk!

Self-Guided, Teacher-Led Field Trips

Enjoy a fun-filled day of learning at one of the largest natural spaces in North Texas.

The refuge will provide lesson plans and materials for you to work through with your students, at your own pace.  You may request alternate topics of your choice.

Events and activities hosted by the Friends of Hagerman are funded by donations and powered solely by volunteers.  There are no fees for admission to the refuge or parking. The refuge is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year and you may drive on any road unless gated.
