Ranger-Led Field Trips

At Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge

Enjoy a fun-filled day of learning at one of the largest natural spaces in North Texas.

Ranger Spencer Beard, his assistants, Master Naturalists and and other volunteers will ensure that you and your students enjoy a fun-filled learning experience. Students will be spending time outside, please advise them to dress appropriately for a hike in the woods (closed-toe shoes are strongly recommended.) Planned lessons and activities subject to change.

Events and activities hosted by the Friends of Hagerman are funded by donations and powered solely by volunteers.  There are no fees for admission to the refuge or parking; the refuge is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year, drive on any road unless gated.
