Trip on June 29, 2024, to 

Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge in Sherman, Texas, for Lotus Flowers in Meadow Pond

The Photography Club went on a field trip to photograph Lotus flowers in Meadow Pond at Hagerman NWR. We met up before sunrise and reached Meadow Pond in time to set up our equipment and catch the sunrise. The Lotus flowers are a favorite attraction at the refuge and a great photography opportunity. Take a look at the photos below of the photo club members who attended the field trip.

(Please note that the refuge opens at sunrise, but the photo club had permission to be in the refuge before sunrise.)

Events and activities hosted by the Friends of Hagerman are funded by donations and powered solely by volunteers.  There are no fees for admission to the refuge or parking; the refuge is open from sunrise to sunset every day of the year, drive on any road unless gated.
