Trip on February 17, 2024, to Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge in Sherman, Texas, for Lotus Flowers in Meadow Pond |
The Photography Club went on a field trip to photograph Lotus stalks in Meadow Pond at Hagerman NWR. The Lotus flower stalks form interesting and abstract shapes in winter. The trip was postponed from an earlier date due to cold weather. The delay meant the Lotus stalks had already started to stand upright and to recede into the pond. The weather was chilly but the photographers ventured out to take some great photos.
