Trip on August 30, 2023, to

Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge in Sherman, Texas, for Night Shoot of Sunset and Blue Supermoon

The Photography Club went on a field trip for an evening photo shoot at Hagerman NWR. The shoot included sunset shots across the water and moonrise with the August 30th blue super moon. Temperature was seasonably hot with a nice breeze. 14 photographers showed up. We met at the end of Pad H and set up our equipment to catch the sunset and waited patiently for the blue super moon to appear. Take a look at the photos below of some photo club members who attended the field trip. Click on each image to enlarge and see entire photo.

(Please note that the refuge closes at sunset, but the photo club had permission to stay in the refuge after dark.)
