Eldon and Ruth 1/12/2009 Bird Feeding Tip, from Eldon and Ruth: Our most visited feeder, other than the black-oil sunflower feeder, is our peanut butter treat. Mix cheapest chunky peanut butter (less sugar) with enough raw oatmeal to keep it from being sticky. We press this into a feeder Eldon made from a small log. He bored several holes in it and added a screw eye for hanging off our deck. Woodpeckers and others love it! |
